Directory structure of MAXS/AD-2017 The directory structure of MAXS/AD-2017 is as follows: MAXSAD-2017 |- README.txt : this file |- maxs : JENDL/AD-2017 MAXS files |- origen-s.lib-prod.f : a program which replaces parts of ORIGEN-S activation cross section library with MAXS/AD-2017 |- array.inc : include file for origen-s.lib-prod.f |- flux : a sample 199 group spectrum to collapse 199 group MAXS/AD-2017 data to 3 group data |- maxsad-2017.sh : a LINUX sample shell script which replaces parts of ORIGEN-S activation cross section library with MAXS/AD-2017 2. Howe to use MAXS/AD-2017 MAXS/AD-2017 has two kinds of files; 199 group cross section files (*.maxs-xs) and 199 group isomer ratio files (*.maxs-isom). These files are not directly used in the ORIGEN-S code. The following procedure is required. (1) to generate 3 group data from MAXS/AD-2017 199 group data with a neutron spectrum at a position where an ORIGEN-S calculation is performed. (2) to replace parts of the ORIGEN-S activation cross section library (origen.rev03.pwrlib.data) with 3 group data produced in (1). A program origen-s.lib-prod.f attached in MAXS/AD-2017 is used for the above procedure. Before performing a LINUX shell script maxsad-2017.sh attached in MAXS/AD-2017, origen-s.lib-prod.f should be complied in the MAXSAD-2017 directory and the ORIGEN-S activation cross section library (origen.rev03.pwrlib.data) should be copied to the MAXSAD-2017 directory. If necessary, a flux file in the MAXSAD-2017 directory should be revised. Then maxsad-2017.sh generates a new activation cross section library maxsad-2017.data for ORIGEN-S from origen.rev03.pwrlib.data. 3.
